We are currently working through Pre-K with the My Father’s World Curriculum. For our storage solution I chose a 12-Bin Storage Organizer. It is originally from Ikea but we purchased it second hand for $30.00. I like this storage solution because it’s easily accessible for my little one, its easy to put things back, I like the size variety in the bins, and aesthetically it’s really nice. There are more bins on the bottom that are not shown in the photo (there is nothing in those bottom bins).
The bins contain our Monday-Friday activity toys and the bottom two bins to the right contain our corresponding activity cards (fun learning activities that go with the toys), and the other bin contains some homeschooling extras like stickers, scissor practice and etc. If you want to see what I have in there you can look out for a future post.
I went through and labelled all of the bins according to the days of the week. I used my DYMO LetraTag labeller, it’s one of those purchases that remains in my “best purchases” list. I use it to organize my spice jars in the kitchen, my pantry bins, closets, the girls’ outdoor clothing and more.
If you want to see all of the fun supplies we have for Pre-K homeschooling, check out my MY FATHER’S WORLD PRE-K REVIEW.
For our activity cards, I put them in this 4×6 photo album that I purchased from Walmart. I added tape on label tags (also from Walmart) for each day of the week.
When she has finished her lesson she chooses a sticker and sticks it on, it helps us keep track of which lessons have been completed.
That is it for our organization! How do you organize your homeschooling supplies?
