Welcome to a look inside our Pre-K curriculum from My Father’s World. I will be making a post every day this week giving you a look inside our home school curriculum. I will show you what educational toy we used and the corresponding activity.

Today’s activity used Lauri Alphabet Puzzle Boards and helped Miss V practice her fine motor skills by tracing.
First we punched out the objects:
Next we gathered our supplies which were paper, pencil, crayons, scissors and a glue stick.
On the paper, Miss V traced around the puzzle objects, and then she colored them in with her pencil crayons.
The next task on the activity card was to draw a small circle around each piece and and cut them out, using the circle as your cut line. Because Miss V did her tracing so close together, we skipped the circle and I got her to cut around the objects instead as best as she could.
The final step was to glue he pieces to another sheet of paper. We added some googley eyes for added fun =).
This has been Miss V’s favourite activity card so far this week. She kept saying how much fun she was having and worked diligently for close to an hour working on tracing, coloring, and gluing her artwork. It was fun to watch her create and I am glad I am doing these blog posts so that I can look back later on and enjoy these memories =).
I hope you enjoyed looking into our curriculum for today. Join me tomorrow for Thursday’s home-school lesson. The comments are turned off on the website, but I would love to connect with you and get your thoughts. You can either follow me on Instagram or ‘Like’ Ryan & Marsha on Facebook (or both!)
