Monday’s Quiet Time Activities
I-Spy: I scored this i-spy bag at a garage sale for $1, but if you are looking for something similar, I came across @lollipoppits on Instagram. She sells gorgeous I-Spy bags on her website.
Imaginative Play: Miss V has an excellent imagination, she will have a great time with the mini horse figurines & sea shells.
Crafting: Black construction paper, chalk, safety scissors with different patterns, and hole punches.
Tuesday’s Quiet Time Activities
Funny Face Creation: I purchased this from Dollarama. The stickers are thick foam and re-usable.
Puzzle: Backyardigans.
Bugs & Water Beads Play: Water beads, magnifying glass (Dollarama), bugs (party section at Walmart), tweezers & a scoop.
Wednesday’s Quiet Time Activities
Build a Dinosaur: I purchased this neat little toy from Dollarama for $3. It comes with a srew driver so you can unscrew/screw in all of the parts. They had a variety of toys you can build.
Dinosaur Modelling: Another Dollarama purchase. This one comes with an egg full of modelling clay and dinosaur molds.
Want Decorating: Foam wands, foam stickers, and markers.
Thursday’s Quiet Time Activities
Elmer’s Stick’Ems: Miss V has a great time with these. All you do is lightly dab them with water and they stick together. We found ours at Dollarama but I would imagine Walmart sells them. Here is a video I posted on Instagram of them in action:
Puzzle: Paw Patrol (Dollar Tree)
Piggy Play: Imaginative play with these adorable figurines.
Friday’s Quiet Time Activities
Funny Face Creation: I found this sticker set at Dollarama.
Color by Number: I posted a photo of this activity on Instagram
Imaginative Play: Shopkins McDonalds toys, Hello Kitty Figurines, and a dinosaur.
FYI, the labels you see on the bins were made with the DYMO LetraTag Label Maker. Here is the one I own:
I hope you were inspired. If you want to see more, check out Week #1.
