Is your little one entertained by hatching eggs? Read on, this bin is for you! Easter is still a little ways away but this year I am planning ahead. Here is an inexpensive Easter themed quiet time bin I put together for Miss V. Enjoy!
- A Bin
- ½ Bag Easter Grass
- Easter Chicks
- Easter Eggs
This whole thing (including the bin) cost $6.75. Here’s a breakdown of the cost and where I found the supplies:
Sterilite Bin – $1.00. Found at Walmart 5 for $5.
Easter Grass (1/2 bag was plenty!) – $1.00 ($0.50 for 1/2). Found at Dollarama.
Easter Chicks – $1.00/ea x 4 ($4.00). Found at Dollarama.
Easter Eggs (3 pack) – $1.25. Found at Dollar Tree.
Assembling this bin is quite simple. Line the bottom of your bin with Easter grass, place the chicks inside the eggs and place them on top of the Easter grass.
These little chicks are a little too chubby to close the eggs completely but it’s a pretty good fit. It looks like they are hatching.
The chicks are squishy and stretchy. They also light up!
