Lately I’ve seen a lot of sensory bottles popping up on my Pinterest feed. I am totally oogling the VOSS water bottles, but I am in Canada and I have (so far) been unable to find them here. I really do think that the bottle you choose will either make or break your project. So here I give you my top 3 alternatives.
Karma Wellness Water – Third Place
I really like the shape of this bottle and the smoothness around the cap (I think Washi Tape would stick well to it). It also has a nice sized opening which is nice for adding objects into your sensory bottle. The downside to this is that the cap gets slightly wrecked in the process. The powder that gets mixed into your water is in the cap. Really neat design if you are drinking the water bottle (who does that??) but it does bother me that once you get rid of the powder the underside has a hole which means the glitter does get stuck in the cap. I found this water bottle at a gas station. I imagine you could find it at any 7/11.
Smart Water – Second Place
In second place is this smart water bottle. The shape and smoothness of the bottle is what I like so much. I haven’t had any issues with leaks using this for our sensory bottles. My only complaint for this is simply aesthetics. Although the design is already quite nice, I just reeaaally like the way VOSS water bottles have that top to bottom shape consistency. If you want to pick up a Smart Water, I found this water bottle at a gas station. I imagine you could find it at any 7/11. I’ve also seen them at Walmart.
Scented Bubbles – First Place
Aesthetically I think they are the closest to the VOSS water bottle. Plus as an added bonus the caps come in a variety of super adorable colors. Another plus about these bottles is that they are only $1.25 each AAAND you get bubbles! I found these at the Dollar Tree during the winter months so hopefully you are able to find them year round at your nearest location as well.
I used the pink bottle for my Valentine’s Day Sensory Bottle.
