Welcome to a look inside our Pre-K curriculum from My Father’s World. I will be making a post every day this week giving you a look inside our home school curriculum. I will show you what educational toy we used and the corresponding activity.

Today’s activity used Lauri Crepe Rubber See-the-Difference Kids puzzle and helped Miss V practice her large motor skills.
The activity was to place one piece of each color on the table. I was to position my body like one of the pieces and Miss V was to guess which color piece I was mimicking. Later to add a level of difficulty the activity card said to lay all of the pieces out and have Miss V identify which one I was positioned as. Some of the the pieces are quite similar, so it could be a simple difference like a piece with their feet together vs a piece where their legs are spread out. I found myself giving her vocal cues (ie. “look at my legs, are they together or apart?”) when maybe I should have just let her figure it out.
One of my favorite things about homeschooling is that I get to have that one-on-one time with Miss V. This activity card was fun and we both really enjoyed completing it together =).
I hope you enjoyed looking into our curriculum for today. Join me tomorrow for Wednesday’s home-school lesson. The comments are turned off on the website, but I would love to connect with you and get your thoughts. You can either follow me on Instagram or ‘Like’ Ryan & Marsha on Facebook (or both!).
