This marble sensory bottle is fun, inexpensive, and super easy to make (three things I like!).
- A bottle
- Hair Gel
Add the marbles to your bottle.
The amount of hair gel you will use will really depend on how many marbles you have, how heavy they are and how big your bottle is. For my bottle, 1 cup of water and approximately 6 tablespoons of hair gel were what I used. You can either mix the two together in your Pyrex, or you can mix it in the bottle with the marbles, which is my preferred method. Tweak it as needed. If you want the marbles to fall faster, dump some of your solution out and replace it with water. If you want your marbles to slow down, add more hair gel. Once you are happy with the way the marbles are falling you can go ahead and add your glitter.
The solution may seem a little foggy at first, but not to worry, in a few hours it will appear clear again. Also if you have a lot of bubbles, pinch the bottle so that the bubbles rise to the top and wipe them away with your finger. Repeat as needed.
All that is left is to enjoy! Super fast, easy and fun! If you want to see this bottle in action, check out the clip I posted on Instagram =).
